What if you put farms in skyscrapers instead of people? What if you grew the food for cities in cities and left vast tracts of agricultural land return to an uncultivated state? Better, fresher food for metropolites and further destitution in the hinterlands? Weird pseudo-synthetic veggies for metropolites and Big Ag conglomerates laughing their way to the bank as they rebrand “traditional” factory farmed foods as the natural alternative?
